I came across this, just came out this year. Card is backed by Deserve so the app is a soft pull. Wonder what the community thinks?

It looks to be a competitor to the Paceline credit card. Paceline platform of course is Apple/IOS only, which makes it kind of limited (I am not an Apple user).

Sorry to bump an old thread but I figured that might be better than creating a new one on the same topic. I did bring this card up in another thread (where someone was planning to make a large medical purchase) but it got no responses.

I am very intrigued by this KrowdFit Wellness Rewards MC.

Particularly the 4% CB categories. If you were to solely look at the KrowdFit site, it wouldn't be evident what qualifies for 4%.

What is a 'partner'? (the T&C footnote does say the 4% is based in MCC, so that's good)

But if you read reviews about the card on other sites (like NerdWallet), the 4% seems like it could be pretty generous, covering a good handful of categories you don't typically see in 5% CB cards.

Food: Restaurants, specialty markets and “miscellaneous” food stores.
Fitness: Sporting goods stores, bicycle shops, membership clubs and dance studios.
Health care: Medical and dental providers, health insurance and drugstores.
Wellness: Massage parlors, spa services, and health and beauty shops.
Clothing: Family clothing stores, sports apparel and shoe stores.
Outdoor activities: Public and private golf courses, country clubs, and sporting and recreational camps.
Transportation: Including boat, motorcycle and snowmobile dealers.
Discount stores: Including Walmart, Target and others.

I'm especially interested in 4% at WalMart (in-store) and other discount stores, and the health insurance premiums. Granted, I already get 3% with AOD so it's only 1% more but our insurance is almost $1000/mo so I'll take $40 CB over $30, or $120 per year. Two of my kids are in dance studios. I like the medical and dental providers (I wonder if orthodontics qualifies). Clothing and shoe stores is nice too.

It looks like the card has some other cool benefits like a free year of KrowdFit Premium and your choice of free MyFitnessPal or Calm (not sure what any of those are). They have weekly cash giveaways. You get to see your rate and credit limit before the hard pull.

Does anyone have this card or have any more information about it?

@ptatohed I reviewed this last night when I was sleepy, so apologies if I missed some details, but this is an interesting situation. As you mentioned, nerdwallet sings praises for the card, and states a wide variety of categories it covers (including the ability to send them a request to add additional MCCs/ categories???), BUT none of these details are found on their actual website? Including the small print at the bottom? Odd. Furthermore, according to some comments (so take it for what it's worth) on the DOC's site, someone posted a PDF link to a 38-page cardholder agreement from May, including some MCC codes on the last page (not as extensive as the one's on the nerdwallet review but still something). The same person that posted the PDF also emailed them about qualifying categories and received an answer stating: "I emailed them today about 4% category and they said “We have gone through your email, medical merchants like Doctor/Hospital or Drugstore falls under others (Everything else) category which will give you 1% cash back." That contradicts some info on the Nerdwallet list. Others were told by them that insurance costs are covered though. I feel like that could be a pain to test out and keep up with. Some other comments stated it was sort of a pain to acquire any reasonable customer service, especially during the application process. And another statement by someone else stated they couldn't get assistance from Deserve: "Today Deserve didnt even bother to pick up their phones. Deserve stated “Sorry you’ve had such difficulty. Out team has started a review of their support response so hopefully we will be able to effect some change.” A potential 4% is wonderful, but the uncertainty and instability deters me from applying.

This could be a very interesting card if the details on the cash back categories were more transparent.

I've been a test dummy (and sometimes just a dummy) before but I'm going to pass on this one, at least until we have more feedback.

I've been curious about this card and decided to dive in and risk it with an application to see if I can score 4% cb on medical and dental payments. But looks like the website is now unavailable, so they have removed the product from new applications.

made an account. the account never asked for my phone number. the link you sent validates account by phone number. so i manually added my phone number to my account. it still cant retrieve my account using my phone number. i will give it a couple of days to see if it recognizes my phone number or not, but i cant seem to find a way to reach the card application with this card.

Also making me re-think whether I want to sign away my SSN and all vital records to a company that cant seem to provide a barely functionng account.

4% back for medical and dental would be great ... until you hit a limit -- is there a limit? There must be a limit (I admit that I didn't read all the info). 🤔 Still, the lack of responsiveness and phone number stuff seems fishy, wishy-washy at best, @batsy71. Kudos for testing the waters so far.

Yesterday I found a 3 month old reddit post which claims this card doesn't give 4% back on doctor and dentist visits.

This is the most direct claim I have seen and there have been other posts in the past that make similar claim, so I am abandoning this card. I am also concerned about identity theft given what I saw with their sign up process.
