I opened the mailer, and it was a "preselected" offer for the AS Visa. It mentioned the SUB, the APR range for the card, and had a personal secure code for me to enter online. While reading through the card/SUB terms, on the botton of page four it mentioned that provided there were no changes, there was a firm offer of credit. It stated that the minimum terms were X for a SL, and had a solid APR in that box only on the page. Does this mean that "preselected" = "preapproved" in BofA's vocab? The offer was good until 12/4, would it matter for me to wait until my next Disney Visa's statement closes so my report shows both a lower utilization and a CLI that Chase gave after the third statement?

I'm not a Bank of America customer, so I wouldn't be able to log in and see if it is showing up on their website as well.

Alaska Airlines Visa SUB Question

Hey lovely people!

Informed Delivery said that I will be getting a mailer for the AS Visa in the mail later today. All I can see from the image is that there is a 70K mile SUB, but it doesn't mention the spend amount requirement on the outside of the envelope. In case it is the standard $3K, the only real way I could responsibly make that happen is to use it to pay rent. I currently use Zelle to transfer money for rent + utilities to a roommate and he pays from his bank account. Is there a way I could send my roommate the money so that BofA wouldn't code it as a cash advance and have it count towards the SUB? Or, is my only hope logging into our landlords portal myself to pay for rent + utilities that way?
