I only have 1 Amex card so I don't know if getting another one will give me more Amex offers. With chase I know I get different offers on each of my cards with them. Does Amex work like chase where each card has different offers available on each and the more cards you have, the more offers you get?

Amex Offers do differ between cards, but only slightly and the majority of them appear across the board. There are often some that are available only on one or several of my cards and not all. The most recent example that comes to mind for me was a get xx% back up to $yy on Marriott that was only showing on my Blue Business Plus but would have been much better on one of my Marriott cards. Also that was a great reminder to always read the fine print, as it was only valid for North American properties and BBP has foreign transaction fees, so I did a double oops when I thought I was redeeming it.

It used to be quite lucrative at times when you could add the same offer to more than 1 card, but they changed it a while back so that you could only enroll one card in an offer.

As already mentioned, you can only enroll in one offer even if it shows up on multiple cards.

The only way around it is by having authorized users. Then, each authorized user will also get to enroll the same way: 1 offer per entire card line-up. That is if same offer shows up for them.

The BBP food offers always seem to be for some boutique online nonsense that I would never bother with.

I have personally observed the majority of Amex offers to be the same across all cards, with the following differences of note:

Business cards tend to get business-oriented offers, such as with high spend thresholds or for common business expenses like shipping, but will also get offers that are more personal-oriented, such as on wine, underwear, clothing, etc

MR-earning cards seem to get the spend $x get $y back on hotel offers, e.g. spend $300 at Marriott get $100 back - of note, BBP seems to get the same ones as Green/Gold/Platinum (I used to think the cards with annual fees got better offers, but when I paid more attention this did not seem to be the case)

My Marriott Business card will see Marriott offers somewhat often, but I have held all four Hilton cards and the first and only Hilton offer to appear on a Hilton card was during the member week that ended a week ago

Business Platinum would get some Dell offers, but not the best ones like spend $200 get $40 back (probably too good with Dell credit)

Gold occasionally sees grocery-specific offers

This has just been my personal experience, of course.

definitely different across some cards. Ones like the BestBuy extra point per dollar or whatever it was is on my Everyday Preferred but they surely wouldn't allow it to be used with my Blue Business Plus where it would have been a total of 3 points per dollar. They know what they are doing..

Only 100 offers are available on Amex cards. If you "add to card" those 100, 100 more will become available. If you add those 100, more will come available. Our BCP currently has 345 offers added to card. I was unable to see the last 245 offers until I added the ones that were offered first. If you have multiple Amex cards, and one is sockdrawered, it may make sense to add all the offers you have no interest in to that card to prevent clutter. We have only one, so I used the script from the second link to automate the process:

https://milestomemories.com/this-cool-trick-lets-you-add-all-amex-offers-at-once/

https://gist.github.com/elado/69fa611d84305dea4b38801880743928
