I had submitted a dispute for a fast food purchase. I paid using NFC on my Apple Card at the self service kiosk.

About 15 minutes after placing my order, I asked about it. The cashier said we don't have your order- do you have a receipt? I said no, as the SSK machine didn't print one nor did it offer an order #. They said well, we don't have anything. I was like okay weird- maybe a glitch and left without my order.

That night (Aug 28), I decided to submit a dispute. It was easy through the app; I got a conditional credit for $11.64 and was informed that a resolution should be expected by Oct 31. On Aug 30, I was notified via email that my dispute was Accepted and Opened.

I heard back on the dispute today (Oct 21) and it was in my favor.

I have disputed a few transactions with other issuers and GS seems to be in line with the amount of time (~54 days) for resolution.

Fun fact: And...Sorry if you already know this. The time line is going to be almost universal among issuers. It's sort of like condensed court where they're their own Judge and Jury. Once they accept your dispute and put it into motion, the first thing they do is issue a charge-back to the merchant's payment processor... translation, the amount of the charge is sucked right out of merchant's bank account. Then, a few days later they (merchant) gets a letter from their payment processor informing them of the dispute and they have xx days to offer proof that the charges are valid, the order was fulfilled, delivered etc... (aren't fraudulent). If they fail to do so, they don't get their money back. You know the rest...
