Pay day loans are a lot worse shrug. Desperate people will do desperate things as certainly border predatory(although still following the card act barely), but I guarantee the charge off rate is way up with this company as well due to people that apply for this card and their creditworthiness or lack there of. As echoed before in other posts I use to work for Credit One(among many other CC issuers Chase, WF, etc) although we did very well the monthly charge offs that we processed was mind boggling on scope was higher than other lending institutions thus the fees/higher apr's etc. Different products for different people. We certainly weren't as bad as above post though.

Wow.... more fees than 1st Premier Card from South Dakota..... lol.. even Credit One looks like an Angel compared to these guys

The biggest civil court in USA... Cook County,IL .. I remember the daily morning Court call ..listed Cap one & Credit One as the companies suing the most people

Early on in my rebuild I saw some pretty bad offers for a Destiny MC, but they were usually $75 and I avoided them. A secured Discover was the best decision I made when starting my rebuild and I can't imagine this $175 first year AF card having value for anyone, no matter how bad off their credit is.

Man that's a horrible, horrible card. The fact that they have to "advertise" it through web ads and spam emails (I get emails from them despite having 50K in credit and 800+ FICOs), proves they are really trying to lure victi...customers.

Most anything shown in web ads tend to be sub par at best, utter scams at worst.
