I was approved for a small cli on one of my Amex cards a few days ago. What are the chances I'd be approved for a cli on another different Amex card?? Would I be pushing my luck by trying?

Unless things have changed, you can only get a CLI on one Amex card every 6 months.

You will have to wait 180 days after you got that recent CLI before you're eligible to get another one on any AMEX-issued* credit card. If you try before then you should expect a message that they can't approve since you already had one within the last 6 months.

You wouldn't really be pushing your luck by trying too early as a decline because you asked too soon has been an exception to their usual policy of having a decline making you ineligible to ask for one on any AMEX-issued card for the next 90 days.

* I'll point out since it's often a source of confusion that "AMEX-issued" means that the card was issued by American Express. Cards from other issuers that only use the American Express payment network don't count.
