Went to check my PNC account this morning to find this announcement! Very exciting; looking forward to digging deeper and learning more, because it feels like a no-brainer for me.

Nice find. I bank with them but have not found their credit cards compelling enough to dive in. This one will be nice for many I would guess.

However, my real hope is that they revamp their thoroughly uncompetitive PNC Points system. As it stands, points value is so hidden it borders on deceptive and the true value comes out to about 0.88% to 1.54% return - not even woth burning an app in my opinion.

Card looks really nice. But, no bonus... hard pass. It's good that it has no FTF. But, idk why it took them towards the end of 2023 just to make a new card.

That's hot. The more banks offering 2% the better. Hopefully will make uncompetive cards better.

I have one of PNC's legacy cards and am in the same boat. Also, only one toy CLI ever.

I like the idea of the card, but when I logged into my PNC online backing, there was no prequalified offer and no way to apply for the this card. My guess is PNC s going to limit the card to their best customers for the moment.

I am keeping an eye on this.

Yeah, I gave PNC a call and found out the the card isn't rolled out in my state yet. The rep advised me to keep checking back during the first quarter of next year. I don't think they would have announced publicly if it wasn't going to be rolled out fully in some reasonable time period, so I have hope!

I am not in PNC eco-systems but have use their ATMs as it's very useful to get $1, 10, & 20 bills back. I check their card credit page since I am in Michigan and I see it listed.

Eh, I get it but I don't really give a **bleep** about bonuses. I actually WANT "relationships" with banks because I'm looking for "the one" even though my brain tells me there's no such thing. 2% is OK but can be found anywhere these days. I have a PNC account.. HP for this one? IDK

See it listed or listed to apply? I am in FL and they have a decent size footprint here and have a card with them with no option to apply. Likely as mentioned very limited role out possibly to their wealth type of client or limited geo until a more wide spread roll out that will happen in the next few months.. 2% is nothing special anymore so not really sure why they are waitng.

I live in SC and called the branch manager of the branch I use regularly. She said she wasn't given a timeframe on when the pre-qualification link will work or when they could take applications in the branch. She said she would let me know when they were available in this part of the country. She did say that applicants had to have an existing relationship with PNC.

When I learn more, I will share.

Clicked the link but got automatically redirected to the PNC home page. I'll accept that PNC announced the card to drum up interest, but they are currently only doing a "soft launch" with a select few customers. PNC also has a wide footprint in my state, Maryland, so I feel pretty good about waiting until it is open to the general public.

PNC doesn't allow PC's currently as far as I am aware of so this likely being a new card especially certainly wouldn't allow it until PNC has a policy change on PC's.

I was an early adopter of this card and received it in the mail today. Couple of interesting notes:

Third party services like Mint, etc, see this card as the "PNC Premier Traveler Visa" which l vaugely remember being a card PNC offered in the past. That was a 2x card with an AF, so Cash Unlimited looks like an improved reskin of that base essentially.
The card design isn't final yet. I was surprised my card was white when I got it. It currently uses the "PNC Secured Visa" card design. A little note included in the envelope indicated that I would receive my final card when the design was ready (no ETA)

The link worked for me in California. It asks me to login to online banking, then after loging in continues to the application. I'm new account heavy right now so I backed out of the app, but it's there FWIW.

Good to know. Seems like PNC's 2% card really isn't ready for prime time yet.
