      <description>&lt;P&gt;Rebuilding all things financial since loss of spouse. &amp;nbsp;Good pension and SS.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Been very diligent about credit use.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Total cl pretty low 5100.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;2 cards trying not to get anymore inquires&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 inquiry 21 ( fallen off)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 in 22 from Amazon Chase. I put in wrong SS# &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CS ranges from 740-769&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Amazon Chase just upped credit limit from 4k to 19k (what?????😂😂😂😂) with no notice other than my online statement after 1 year.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Questions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I feel good about how far I've come&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is this normal ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Secondly since ss # was my mistake , can I request them to remove one of the inquiries???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The CRA wouldn't unilaterally remove the inquiry because OP has not claimed fraud or filed any related report with law enforcement; to wit OP admits it was due to their own error.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's possible that Chase would consider having the inquiry made associated with the wrong SSN# withdrawn as a goodwill gesture even though the inquiry was due to OP's admitted error but they aren't required to do it and given that the inquiry dates from 2022 if it isn't already unscorable due to being more than 12 months old it will be within 2 weeks.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 1 inquiry isn't a dealbreaker so best IMO to let the sleeping dog lie.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
