USAlliance in 2024

Anyone heard anything about the fate of the rewards card in 2024? The blurb on the website still refers to 6% groceries/2% everything else, ending 12/31/2023. I think we knew the 2023 changes by this time last year (they started the 6% groceries early, in 2022).

Have not seen anything this year.

You are correct, late September 2022 they shared the end of 3% and started the 6% grocery.

A year and 3 month's of 6% for some of us.

Remember the year before not knowing what rewards were going to be and

not using the card in Jan. of 2022.

They do things on the USAlliance time schedule

I am counting on you to inform us, you need to check daily and

support lazy forum members like me.

OK, sent them a message, explaining that if the answer wasn't good, KForce would eventually get round to cancelling the card, some time when there wasn't something else to do.

OK, they responded quickly, in the way we probably guessed:

We have not yet received any notification as far as what the changes might be (if any) to card rewards going into next year. A notification will be sent to all Credit Card holders if there are any changes.

So somewhere between a) no changes b) 1% everywhere (default with the specials ending), c) 3% surcharge, i.e. -3% rewards as people have been taking advantage

OK, sent them a message, explaining that if the answer wasn't good, KForce would eventually get round to cancelling the card, some time when there wasn't something else to do.

They didn't say "Oh No", we have to do something Kforce will close his card.

Keep in mind the fine print has had that Dec 31 expire date, year after year, and for a few years, they made no changes. Just a guess but I am guessing no changes this time.

That's actually not what I recall! At the first expiration that I was aware of (Dec 2021?) they did drop the 3%, bringing it back in Feb or March by "popular demand"

And in Dec 2022 they changed to the 6/2 structure.

March 2021 reinstated the 3% , then September they added 6% grocery

and said the 3% was leaving end of year.

December they said the new 2023 rewards were 6% Grocery and 2% General (2023).

2020 was 3%

2021 was 9 months of 3% and 3 months with an additional 6% grocery (6,3)

2022 was 6%, 2%

2023 ?/?/?

So they are still advertising the card with 6%/2%, ending 12/31/2023. If you applied now, pretty unlikely that you would get to use it before then! I was therefore happy to get the email today

This must be what I was waiting for!

But no, just they have a new way for us to manage and redeem rewards. My questions are about EARNING in 2024. Oh well, a few more days for them to get round to that.

Good, better than the answer I got in Oct (earlier in this thread) but it all depends on what "soon" means! Maybe prior to 2024?

I wish, but would not put money on it.

They will wait for me to collect my wife & kid's AU cards.

Take mine out of the wallet and store all in all in the sock drawer.

Hand out alternate grocery AU cards, etc.

The next day they will let us know

Messaged customer service today, is the response I receieved:

"We learned today the Visa Signature 6% cash back for groceries promotion will end on 12/31/2023."

So, the party is over.

Just went to the main USAlliance page to check credit card tab.

They have changed it from yesterday & now looks like a 2% card for 2024.

No email or other notification has been received.

Too the sock drawer for now !

Pretty sure I looked a few hours ago and I was the old 6/2 so I guess very recently changed, but before 2024 so points for that.

So now a 2% with $25 increments and a FTF, not very enticing. Whereas AOD continues... (Still a little mad at not applying as I knew there was little point in having 2 3% cards!)

I used this card to collect 6% on groceries and 3% before that. I cashed out my points last month and I now have around 51 points on it. That's pretty tight. Guess I'll be switching to my AAA Daily Advantage for 5% on groceries for 2024. It was fun while it lasted. I guess now it's one of my various "Costco Hot Dog Cards."

This was a great card while it lasted. I use US Bank AR for most of my catch all purchases, so personally I'd rather have the 6% grocery with $2k monthly cap than 3% on all purchases. The cost of groceries is bonkers right now and this card got a lot of cash back. Will just redeem it out and close it down.

Yes, I wasn't unhappy with the 6/2, even when they introduced the $2K cap. But the 3% is useful for things like paying taxes.
