[CHASE SAPPHIRE] Will Chase Travel find another underlying platform this year?

Booked a hotel through Chase Travel in 2021 and the (perhaps new) front desk person was "reading aloud" confirming some details and let slip "and I see you booked with Expedia, thanks for staying with us at _____ hotel."

While this isn't confirmed on any written documentation visible to me, the guest, I am surprised Chase still used Expedia's same retail code to identify the 3rd party agent and didn't private label it.

Since the Expedia deal lasted a mere 3 years, 2018 - 2021, do we foresee them switching partners again in 2024, breaking up with cxLoyalty?

I also had a hotel clerk say she saw I had booked through Expedia back in November; something I didn't know prior to that. As for whether the'll make a change in 2024, no idea, but based on your second link above, it sounds like the switch will be a "when" and not "if" scenario.
