Penfed Credit Card question

Hi all,

I applied for Power cash reward Card back in March 2022. Then I found out that I could apply for another card using same Unquiry and boom got Platinum Reward Card. I was looking for pre approval from them and I finally got pre approval for Visa - Pathfinder they also showing me what limit I will get.

So My question if anyone can help me. If I go ahead and accept that offer and if I do get Approved for Pathfiner; which will lead to HP. Can I use same HP ( Same Inquiry ) to request CLI for my previous Penfed cards; without putting on any other hard inquiry.

Generally speaking, PFCU inquiries are valid for 30 days. Any CLI will depend on your total CL with PFCU, as there max CL limit is $50k.

By max limit you mean max limit on one card or combined limit on all their cards

The maximum limit per card (unless previously grandfathered in) is $25,000. The maximum limit across all PenFed cards is $50,000 total exposure.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience moving limits with PenFed? I want to say I remember reading you cannot but can't find that particular thread.

So I can use same hard pull for CLI for my 2 credit cards? As long as its under #$50000 among total credit from penfed.
