What's on your CC Wish List this year? What do you need to do yet to get it ?

I want back in with Discover and Amex.

I am at apx 650 on my Fico 8's. I made them both whole. I still have a baddie. Waiting for my settled accounts to fall off. If I had those 2 cards I would be content and Happy in my Heart. Throw in 1 Chase card and I would be ecstatic. Now it's just a waiting game. I am jelly of those that are back in sooner than later but happy for them as well.

What do you want in your wallet?

This year I'll be getting an Elan Max Cash Preferred card via Amplify FCU, and a NASA Platinum Cash Rewards card.
The MCP will be for 5% on utilities and Internet/cable.
I don't actually have a rational use for the NASA card, and there are other cards I should get instead, but one of my hobbies is arguing with flat Earthers on the Internet, and anything NASA triggers them!🤣

Afterwards, back to gardening.

For me, my wishlist is more of an idea. I feel like for the past few years, I keep pondering going to a one and done credit card. I dislike the hassle of juggling cards to maximize my rewards..... but I also hate when I miss out on maximizing my rewards; it definitely stings when I accidentally use a wrong card somewhere.

Anyway, if I can ever get passed that feeling, my actual wishlist would include the Altitude Reserve, Venture X, or maybe a higher level Hilton/Marriott card. My wife wants to go to the Maldives in about 3-4 years, so a Venture X would be good with transfer to Emirates (though I'm already banking URs for that as well).

We'll see if I decide to do it. I'll likely stick to juggling cards and continuing banking URs with my Chase line-up. After all, I'm almost to 2 years without a new app, which is keeping my credit score around 840.

This has been a category on the US Bank Cash+ since the beginning ($2000 a quarter cap) and the Elan version has inherited it.

Trouble is the NASA card is flat, perhaps "proving" their point? Maybe soften and bend it into a more useful shape, especially as you don't appear to actually need it to charge anything!

The Kroger card for 5% on mobile wallet spend (up to $3k spend per year). Preferebly a version from one of the Kroger subsidiaries like Ralph's that offer a $100 SUB instead of gas rewards since I'm rarely near a Kroger to get gas. Not sure about geofencing and whether any of the subsidiaries I like are close enough to me to qualify. I'm going to try to wait until July or August so I'll be 0/6 on new accounts. It's from US Bank and they can be persnickety like that. I haven't seen any indication that the Kroger co-branded cards are any easier to get than other US Bank cards. But I haven't seen much discussion of them at all, so I just don't know.

It's a hobby for me. If I get tired of keeping track of it all, I may simplify my setup. Right now I enjoy "juggling cards to maximize my rewards." Strategy changes every quarter when I find out what Discover and Chase have for 5% categories. Some people think that's a pain. For me, it keeps the game interesting.

Don't give up. Took me 8 years after burning Amex in bk7 to get back in. Burned them for about $2500 or so best I can remember and Chase for $10k. Still don't have any offers from Chase but im over 5/24 now anyway. All the Amex cards in my signature were obtained from March on last year.

Im content with the cards I have and use now and dont plan to add any more.

I'm just waiting until September when I'll be 61 months post BK7 and can app with AMEX. Probably will get one of the Delta co-branded cards, since that's the carrier I primarily use when travelling.

The new NASA card is has a nice design, just got that in the mail recently.

They used to hand out 2.99% promotional APR offers like candy.

It is especially triggering to flat Earthers because it was taken by the crew of Apollo 17 on their way to the moon, using a real film camera, AND it shows Antarctica.😆

My wish is for the new Apple Card to be issued by JPMorgan Chase, since AMEX won't touch that even with a ten-mile pole. I'm in a holding pattern with the card, ready to close it.

I used to keep saying I wanted an airline card, but not anymore since acquiring my Plat. Ditto for a hotel card.

One of the Kroger cards. I do most of my shopping, especially at grocery stores, via Google Pay. So having 5% CB would be great.

I just need them to open up a store in the northeast...

Me too. I heart so about them but don't have her in NE
