Any thing new with Revolution Card

Few days ago I got letter from Revolution Card stating that they are cancelling my account and as they are adding new partners new cards will be issued again later. Did any one else apply for Revolution card lately? I am debating if I should I apply for the card again or just stay put. I dont want to take a hit on my credit report for next 6-8 months.

I received the same letter, & my impression, which could be wrong, is that RC isn't taking new apps now because they're rethinking & restructuring their business. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to simply pull the plug on this card.

The RevolutionCard never really took off I used my card exactly once - to get a $50 discount for new RC card holders in early 2008 - & never had a good reason to use it again. As I said elsewhere, the RC was the answer to a question that no one was asking.

I wouldn't waste my time reapplying.
