how to grow the target store card?

i've had the target store card at 2.2K credit line for like 4 years now and i used to spend a lot on it, but have stopped in the past two years. They haven't increased my credit line, so that it can be converted into the mastercard variant. Are there any tips or tricks to get auto CLIs for this card with minimal spend? thx

Accept it won't grow and use that effort elsewhere tbh

Other cards can do you better if you want the target MC, I'm perfectly okay with using the debit version

It's the TD/Target lottery game. Little rhyme or reason to it. I've had my Target store card for only a couple months. CLis $2000, and I assume it will never grow or graduate to a MC.

I have plenty of credit cards and only view the Target card as a specialty card with the sole purpose of getting the 5% discount.

Some get the magical MC upgrade after two years but some after four years. Nothing that I am aware of to get you there but you should be Updating income even if it doesn't change.

Just use it occasionally and good luck.

I believe it took me over 8 years to get the upgrade to the MasterCard. Best advice if you really want it is just to have patience and wait for it to happen; and if it does consider yourself lucky.
