I started a prime trial today (30 days) and was wondering if you can get the prime visa while in the trial period.

also I don't really order enough stuff on Amazon anymore because I've been working out of town and will be at least until January

so... what happens if you get approved for the card and then cancel your prime membership after a couple of months.
do you get to keep the card, or do they downgrade it to the Amazon visa or cancel it?

anybody have any experiences to share?

you can get the card on the trial

if your prime membership lapses, you get downgraded to the Amazon Visa with the lesser percentages, no harm there

Well I decided that the gift card offsets the cost of the prime membership for the five months I'll be on the road for work.

so I tried the preapproval and was pre approved

pulled the trigger on the app and after the full 15 second decision period ....

... we need more time to review.

so I immediately called the recon line and asked if they needed any more information from me and they said everything was on the up and up and I'd have a decision within ten days.

well at least it wasn't a denial...

hopefully I'll have something good to post in the approvals section soon enough

this would be my first chase card

and I'm currently 0/24

it was a single hard pull

exp 778 fico 8

Took a 4 point hit for the hp

So I called the automated status line and it says 7to10 days

pressed 0 and spoke to a rep and she told me it was in security verification and they may contact me for verification

so fingers crossed 🤞

It's a good card. If you shop on Amazon regularly you'll enjoy all the rewards.

Hopefully you will get an approval soon!
