I got a surprise email from Citi and accepted their PC from Diamond Preferred to Rewards+! I'm surprised since I thought you had to ask for any kind of PC.

Not when they're trying to get you off a 0% BT card and onto one with potentially more profit for them. I was bombarded a few months ago with offers to switch my Simplicity to Rewards+ or Double Cash, but I wanted to hang on until my initial 15-month 0% BT ran out and I paid it to find out if a zero balance would result in having a new 0% BT. And it did, this time for 12 months, so I didn't PC. I'll revisit this again next year and PC to Custom Cash or Double Cash if 0% BTs go away.

I love the Rewards+ card, two year extended warranties and they keep offering 5x points offers for all kinds of things. They keep trying to get me to upgrade to Priemere, but that one has an annual fee, so no thanks.

That's awesome to know. My simplicity was going to be closed or PCd to custom cash if possible.
