Sony / Playstation Credit Card Being Converted

I originally had this card when it was issued by Capital One, and the portfolio was later sold to Comenity/Bread. A few weeks ago, I received a notice that the program was ending. Typically, with Comenity-issued cards, the cards are just closed and not converted to a different program. This has happened to me three times (Overstock, Wayfair, and Bed Bath & Beyond). Surprisingly, I got an email a couple of days ago stating that they will convert the cards to a different type of card issued by Comenity. I'm glad this is happening since this particular card is over 10 years old. It currently has a limit of $23k and is used once a year (I try to) just to keep it active. Now, I'm curious which card they will convert it to. They have an AMEX Rewards card that is pretty solid: 3x in dining, groceries, and utilities; 1x on everything else; and 25% more points if used 20 times or more a month. This is a pretty solid card, especially since it does not have an annual fee. If I didn't have my current setup with AMEX cards (Gold and Business Gold), a AAA card for gas, and X1 for everything else (with Savor as a backup card in case AMEX is not accepted), I would consider it.

While I don't want to be too much of a downer, I would suggest moderating your expectations! It might be the GOAT reward program, but.... possibly not.

But Comenity !! Err.. I mean Bread !!

Maybe they will release the 'n Butter card with the 'n Jelly companion card.

But, I would apply out of principal if they release the SNES Amex
