For those of you who have MULTIPLE CHASE Cards...

Got the CHASE FF back in March and they double pulled me (EX & TU) when I was approved.

Was wondering, for those of you who have that first CHASE card, are in good standing with them, and when you got your 2nd or 3rd card with CHASE, was that a DOUBLE pull for you as well? 🤔

TBH , I was not expecting a double pull intially, but that's on me, I should have know this after all the reading I do on this forum

I got several personal and business cards from Chase and I got hit by two HPs for each, except the last biz card which was for a corporate.

They pulled EX and TU. I guess, they already have access to either of them via SP. Not sure they pull two.

@Wavester64 I got the double pull on EX & EQ when I applied for my then CSP (over 2 yrs ago), despite having my OG Freedom and United card for many years prior.

Chase pulled EX for my Ink app; at that time I already had Flex and Amazon. However I did freeze TU and EQ prior to the app.

Maybe freeze 2/3 next time and see what happens? If you thawed the wrong one they should still give you a chance to recon.

I'm NY based and only got EX pulled for my CSR about 2.8 years ago and my CFU about 2.1 years ago. Got my CSR Jan 22' and the CFU Aug 22'.

I know they started double pulling often afterwards in some states but even when I got declined for 5/24 when I applied for the United card beginning of this year, it was only a single pull.

Adding data point. For my CFF and CSR (Late September and Early October 2022 respectively), Chase only pulled Experian. Not sure what they pulled for my CFU as that account is 3 years old and the inquiry (or inquiries) have fallen off my report.

I'm currently waiting on Barclays to finish reviewing my aviator red app. (Had to snail mail color copies of my ID, social and a bank statement for address verification)

if they approve, it would be my third new cc in less than 90 days, so it'll be probably after the first of the year before it's safe for me to app for another chase card.

Applied and recieved my first Chase card on 9/21. MyFico doesn't hold reports that far back so not sure which report(s) they pulled.

Fast forward to this year 8/24, applied for the Freedom Flex and they pulled both TU and EX.

I reside in Wisconsin.

Some have been double and some have been single with mine. If you know you have a solid profile lock all CRA's apply then on recon ask them what bureau they want unfroozen unfreeze it and have UW pull it then and will only get one HP. Way around the double HP likely for most. Many times they will pull two if they can but 1 will do just like when I apply for citi been hit with double pulls before now i know all they really want it EQ so only unfreeze that and get approvals off that vs exp and eq.

I had all three of my reports thawed when I applied for each of my three Chase cards (the most recent of which was a double application, one to Chase and one to NFCU); per my most recent reports, here are all of the hard pulls for credit card applications in the last two years :

12-22-2022: Experian from JPMCB CARD (CSP)
07-17-2023: Experian from JPMCB CARD (CFU)
05/11/2024: Experian from JPMCB CARD (United Explorer)
05/11/2024: TransUnion from NFCU FCU (More Rewards)

Yes, very interesting thread, @Wavester64.

I've had Chase cards for 24 years. If I recall correctly, I've ALWAYS had a single HP on EX for every card, even when my scores were much lower than today. So I'm surprised how many are reporting always a multiple HP!

I have 6 personal cards with chase and has never got a double pull. My last app was in July of '23 and that I believe it was either EQ/EX don't remmeber but yeah. I want to stay under the radar with chase, I don't want to update my income unless if I'm applying for a new card lol. Chase has been good to be for about 8 years now, almost 9 years.

So I have 3 Chase cards, with the first being a Southwest card from Aug 23 followed by a Bonvoy Boundless in Feb 24, then the Prime Visa in May of 24.

2 bureaus were pulled for the first, and 1 each for the latter two. Incidentally, I was at 6/24 (all consumer cards) when I got the Prima Visa.
