Hey everyone...

Has anyone created a thread detailing which credit cards report the complete payment history to an authorized users credit file?

I'm looking to add my son to a few cards but not sure who shares the entire payment history.

Good question. If I understand correctly, and I could be wrong, it's my understanding that if they don't ask for an SSN, they aren't reporting. Also, different banks have different age minimums. How old is your son? I added my now 14yo last year as an AU on my citi DC but they didn't ask for a social. Boo. Recently added him as an AU on my C1 SavorOne, no social. Boo. I don't think his credit is being established. But I could be wrong. Also interested in which cards ask for AU SSNs (and allow 14 yo's).

Again, how old is your son? citi did not ask for my son's SSN when I added him to my citi DC at 13 yo.

Reporting is not required for AU if under age 18. Although minors may have a credit report due to AU accounts, they won't have a Fico credit score.

Well, Chase doesn't ask for SSN but definitely (annoyingly) still shows up on their credit reports.
