So, now the question is what other stores with apps have a similar checkout option that I might be able to use my BCE as a 3% card? Home Depot? Lowe's? Either one of those would be awesome.

I saw someone mention on Reddit that their BCE card codes as an online purchase and gives them 3% back at Walmart when using Walmart Pay App in the checkout line. Can anyone confirm this? We don't go to Walmart much (we do some curbside pick up stuff) but there are times that we stop in for milk or a late night snack on the way home if that's the most convenient place. I'll start using Walmart Pay if this is actually works.

I used my Amex BCE linked via Walmart Pay, and the in-store purchase received 3% reward dollars.

Can confirm that I also get 3% back with the BCE at Walmart if I use Walmart Pay.

Also works with the BoA Customized Cash Rewards if your chosen category is 'online purchases'.
