I'm sure someone else is likely more knowledgeable but I'm not completely sure it matters. Capital one has always been pretty good with CLI for me on the walmart card itself, not as generous with my Quicksilver but that may have to do with my profile at the time I received the cards rather than the brand of the card.

Hello,

My C1 Walmart rewards is of course transitioning to a QS card at the end of the month. However, the current Walmart CL is low and I wanted to request a CLI.

Is it better to wait until my Walmart card transitions to request a CLI or do it now? It's been 8 months since my last auto increase.

It doesn't matter when you ask.

They will just go off of your profile and recent spending on the card to determine if you qualify for an increase.

You will need to have used the card for more than just small charges in previous months to qualify.
