Upgrade One Debit Question

I have opened the checking account and got the upgrade one debit card and actually completed 4 purchases but the website progress still says I have to complete the purchases to get the bonus. The 3rd purchase cleared days ago and I did a 4th one yesterday. Are there hidden purchasing rules that I don't know about?

The only thing it says for the bonus is to complete 3 purchases to earn the $400 a long with opening the checking account which I already did open.

the upgrade one credit card you mean?

if the checking account was already open prior to opening the credit card, you shouldn't qualify for the bonus, but if it was opened afterwards, and you did the 3 purchases, you should be paid out after 60 days assuming you made an actual purchase and not something like a bill payment or funding a brokerage or something

I opened it around the time I got the card so I could get the bonus. I've done everything but the 3 purchases is still not checked off the "progress" list yet. Do they wait the whole 60 days before they pay the bonus?

the public terms say that the 3 purchases can either be on the debit card or the credit card, you can try doing both to see if it will tick it off the progress list? was that on your terms as well?

not sure if they take the 60 days, I doubt it.

I would just call and ask tbh

Is the Upgrade one card that I have the debit card that they are talking about? Or is there another card that goes with the upgrade checking account that's separate from the upgrade one?

this is what I assumed you were talking about

this is a credit card with the optionality to add a checking account to it

I assume for the $400 bonus a checking account/debit card was required to be opened alongside the credit card

the public terms for the $400 bonus, afaik, state you can make your 3 purchases on either the credit card or the debit card

upgrade is so unbareably confusing, they seem to want to offer cool stuff but it's bogged down by all of this confusion.

I don't think it's counting the purchases on the upgrade one card so I guess maybe I need to order the rewards checking debit card?

Ok so my question is now answered I just found the debit card in my mailbox which is separate from the upgrade one card.
