topic CLI or Apply For New Freedom Flex in Credit Cards

I got a Freedom Flex seven years ago when I had several dings on my CR from a CO AMEX, couldn't get my score above 650. My CL was $500

After some dedicated work, I boosted my score to 767. I picked up a CSP, FU, Bonvoy Boundless, BILT (for rent) and earlier this year, I was approved for AMEX Gold. Two weeks ago was approved for a World of Hyatt Chase card with a $28,800 CL.

All good things. And over the years, my CSP and FU have had multiple annual revie CLI. Currently, $102,800 CL across my cards,

But outside of one CLI for $500, my Freedom Flex is stuck at $1000 CL and I use it as much as possible when the rotating categories are in my favor.

What's a better path request at CLI or open a new card? I've read that Chase sometimes puts you in a "bucket" based upon what your credit profile was when a card was opened?

I could easily get a new Freedom Flex, but outside of the sign up bonus, I don't want another hit on my CR after getting the World of Hyatt card recently.

Advice? Thoughts?

call chase and ask them to move your limit over from the Hyatt card to the other cards, I assume the Hyatt card is a personal card, so they should be willing to do so.

Second this ^^^^

just move limit from one of the cards you regularly get clis on

then wait a couple months and ask for a cli on the donor card.

rinse and repeat
