Earnings listed are

3x Dining

3x Foreign Purchases( fine print is as follows 2 - Earn 3 Miles (consisting of 2 bonus Miles and 1 base Mile) for every $1 spent on eligible foreign net purchases. $1 = 3 Miles. Eligible foreign net purchases include purchases (1) made in a foreign currency, or (2) made in U.S. dollars if the transaction is made or processed outside of the United States and US Territories.)

Some type of travel insurance

Lounge passes, Wi-Fi vouchers, accelerated paths to elite status

Tbh that foreign purchases thing is interesting.

LOVING this....I signed up for the release, 5,500 extra miles.....HOPING that Alaska becomes a transfer partner now for the Premium and Premium Elite BoA cards!!!!

i would assume at that AF. I dont think there are any Visa's at that AF that arnt, idk if there are any MC's of that AF either.

While the bonus spend for foreign travel is interesting, that AF is steep. Surely there's more to it?

Also no mention of 0 foreign transaction fees. If this thing gives 3 points but charges FTF, it's going to be a hard sell.

Alaska is calling the enhanced version of the companion benefit a "Global Companion Award Certificate" that will be good on international flights, including on some partner airlines.

Now, Alaska is confirming that the companion certificate will be valid for any class of service (that includes first or business class), on any Alaska mileage redemption, including partner mileage awards.

Cardholders will earn one certificate just for holding the card and will receive a second certificate if they meet certain spending requirements on the card, though we don't know how much the spending requirement will be.

Being able to get a companion international ticket for like $25 in fees is wild and could easily make up for the annual fee and more by itself. Now we're talking

Reasonable assumption that there will be no FTF because their other cards dont have it.

Sadly it sounds like Alaska is going the delta style route for lounge access where even their top tier card doesnt offer it.
