Chase instacart no longer 5% unlimited

so i use allot Instacart for my company I would say like 10 K a month and I used to use the CHASE Instacart credit card which gives you unlimited 5% cashback but now they got smart and they capped $6000 annually only for 5% ,

any other cards I can use for groceries?

besides Gold Amex and citi which is also limited

Yes I forgot to mention I do have the AAA Visa card. I hope it would be other cards out there same

If you can check out using mobile wallet, you can get the 5% Kroger family cards. They have caps but you can hold multiples.

I don't think you can hold more than one AAA card.

How much is your annual IC purchase? You can use multiple cards like BCP (6%), IC, AAA, 5% rotating categories, digital wallet cards (like Ralphs), BOA-CCR (3-5.5%) to reach a reasonably high cap that you want. All these cards have cap.

Amex Gold gives 4x up to 25k. It has a high AF, good for frequent travelers and the ones that can use small monthly credits and redeem the MR points for travels.

There are limited options for CB/point without cap. US Bank AR (4.5%, digital wallet; not open to new applicants), smartly (4%, needs a large asset at US Bank).

that doesn't happen until April 30, 2025 though right?

unlikely, you can only have one or the other, I doubt they will let you have two of the same card

you're still earning unlimited 5% back until then, right?

My experience with Instacart is that they jack up the prices, making any cash back a mute point. Only time I make out with Instacart is on one of their 30 to 50 percent off promos.

Agree. I used to use them a bunch and even with discounts, found that the increased base price vs actual in-store price difference and any delivery or tip fees made it so horribly a waste of money vs just using my time to go grab some stuff. I was a fan more around COVID times, but realized how much money I was wasting once I got into it as a habit and haven't used in ages.$$ well saved.
