Based on the other responses, it's going very well. I do not recall that they were 180 days instead of 90 days; I'll adjust my reminders on CLI requests for them going forward.

I usually request about $2,000 to $3,000, but that's arbitrary for me. I spend what I can and primarily use it to order food or Friday night "date night" dinners. While I can pay it off shortly after the payments post, it's a hassle and more work due to the smaller credit line. It's also frustrating that all my other credit cards have significantly higher credit limits than these. If they were transparent about why they are so difficult, I could handle that better than trying to guess.

Has capital one changed the time between credit line increased decisions? Seems my last approved CLI for my Savor card for a whopping $100 was October 28, 2024. Every time I put in a CLI I get the "you recently had a change to your credit line" decline letter. I thought it was 90 days but seems like it may have moved to 180 days now. These guys are getting on my last nerve not sure it's worth the $100 bump every 180 days when all my other cards are so much high CL and regularly bump me up.

Personally, I love the Savor card and it's one of the few I carry daily in my wallet, BCP being the other one. I see that it is one of your oldest cards, so there is some FICO value there. Are you getting significant cash back from it? If so, keep it.

Amex BC is internet subscriptions, groceries and gas every month.

It's only high if that's the amount when the statement posts. You could run up $600, pay that mid-cycle, and then run up another $600 and pay $400 right before the statement posts. You'd have used $1200 on the card but your report would only show $200, so less than 30% utilization. It would stay that amount until your next statement posts the next month. That would be a very small hassle to make bi-weekly payments. Making a payment literally takes 1 minute. Plus, Capital One is known to reward high usage, so it may actually unlock bigger CLIs for you.

It's been 180 days for as long as I remember. What do you write when you get to the question that asks how much you plan to spend with the card? I never know what to write. For example, if a person has a $5K limit and they are going to run $1K through it each month, why need a CLI? Of course we all want our cards to grow. Does the answer to that queston even matter?

I'm not sure if it's good to help credit status, but I like it. The cashback is great and can go to either your cash management account or brokerage account (or any account with Fidelity, I believe). I've had Fidelity for ages for employee stock, brokerage, and cash management (it's the best checking account I've had from any bank, tbh), and they gave me a generous credit line and have been great so far.

I am no expert, but I think that your Savor card is bucketed and will not bring you joy. It was approved just as your BK discharged. Since your other accounts have much higher limits, have you looked into applying for a new Savor card? I would guess that they would approve you with a limit that is higher and more in line with your current credit profile.

I agree and think I'm blackmarked on this card. I do use their prescreen tool to see what's available, if anything, and the only cards they offer after are the secured cards. I don't know when they will get updated CR info, so I can try again, knowing my Ch 13 BK no longer shows on my CRs as of 3/3/25.

Would I go to their site and apply for the Savor card again, and that's it?

I haven't a clue. The more I look into it, the more I am confused trying to understand the algorithms that each creditor uses. It's almost a roll of the dice on getting approvals. I had thought that with your various cards that you would have no problem with CapOne and am suprised that they are only offering secured. Trying to understand this would require someone more knowledgeable.
