Any way to force an immediate payment to a Cap1 card with no balance?

I want my Cap1 Savor card to close with a zero balance. That was all set until I forgot to cancel the Experian 3 credit report thing after I looked at it so I was charged a week later. That was today. So there is a pending charge for $29.99. Statement should close tomorrow and may report as zero with the charge pending. Or, the charge will post before it closes. I tried Bill Pay from TD Bank but that won't post until Tuesday. And from experience that usually takes a couple of days. Not the end of the world if it doesn't happen but...

It will report as 0 next month unless it's a recurring charge. It's $29.99.....

I want it to report 0 tomorrow so I'd like to push through a payment that will post today.

ACH should work as long as before the deadline today.

Or pay with cash at a Capital One ATM before the deadline if available (it will allow a $30 payment on a $29.99 balance)

Ahh I just re-read it was still a pending transaction. You probably won't be able to pake payments online or at an ATM in that case.....

I run into this with my Huntington Voice card. My electric bill gets charged the day before my statement posts. But, they let me pay even with a zero balance. Cap One won't let you pay like that.

However, if you have cash back rewards sitting in your account, you could redeem that a day or so before the closing which would offset the new pending charge. Cap One does let you redeem cash back rewards with a zero balance. That might work as long as you have enough cash back rewards available.
