Not so sure about the amazon credit though. That would take $12,000 spend per year!

Is there a way in to the CU if you are outside the 5 listed states?

Found this post, looks like its not geofenced if you are member of other other CU in Idaho. It also seems to be 2 points per dollar.

The points are worth .00625 each. It's really not a great card even though I have it. If they bumped the point cashout ratio, it'd actually be worth looking at.

That means that even at the highest 4x rewards category, you're still only pulling 2.5% back.

You are right, thanks @northway . I found this on DoC where ICCU spelled out that 32,000 points = $200. Boo.

Join a credit union with a branch in Idaho first, that will make you eligible. Mountain America and First Tech both have at least one branch in Idaho and both are open to everyone so you can join one of those two beforehand.

I'm the one that joined them from Minnesota years back and made that post saying they weren't geo-fenced.

The card is still nothing special even with the improvements and mine remains sock drawered. That being said, I was extremely grateful that they approved me for $10,000 when I was less then 3 years post Chapter 7 BK discharge so I'll always love them for that.
