So, I was approved 6 months ago for a quicksilver for GOOD credit (showed in the preapproval site). However, the preapproval site showed I was preapproved for the excellent credit version, just chose to go for the good credit version instead as was afraid of denial since the website showed excellent credit as having a 5000 limit card for some time (I did not meet that requirement). Silly of me perhaps, but worst case I just missed out on a SUB.

Since then, I have opened a total of 6 cards the past 6 months. Credit score is 700-ish (with 2 missed payments from 3.5 years ago, young and stupid).

***When I check the preapproval site, it only shows preapproval for savor GOOD credit (along with QS good credit and platinum etc)....when I originally checked 6 months prior it showed savor EXCELLENT credit. How long do I have to wait until the excellent credit version pops back up in the preapproval website? Do you think it has to do with my velocity?

***I read that the 2nd Capital One card tends to yield a much higher starting limit than the 1st one. Should I expect this?
