Hello,

I recently joined the AMEX ecosystem. Got approved for the Gold and Platimum 24 hours apart.

I'm considering applying for the Blue Cash Preferred. And eyeing the Blue Business Plus down the line.

If I apply for the BCP first will that acceft my apprioval odds for the BBP later?

I assume you are planning to meet the welcome offers? Between the Platinum and the Gold, since you got them at the same time, you'll have to spend $14,000 in 6 months! Can you do that? If you add the BCP, that's another $3,000 you'll have to spend in 6 months. Unless you have a lot of spend, sometimes it's better to spread out high spend welcome offer cards.

It might, just based on how much risk AmEx has extended with you. But not much since one is personal and one is business.

However, AmEx has a 2-in-90 rule, so you need to wait at least 90 days since you just opened two cards.

Why add the the BCP if you are going to use the Gold?
+1 on cannot get another for at least 90 days.
