PC to Flagship and got the Prime credit

PCd my More Rewards to the FS earlier this year and I set my new FS as the payment for the Amazon Prime annual fee of $139.

Happy to report that six days later, my $139 credit posted netting me an easy $90 back on the card from the $49 AF.

There is chatter of NFCU increasing the FS's AF from $49 to $95. Dont know if I would keep the FS with AF increase.

Whoo-hoo, glad to hear this worked out for you!

Like you I'm really hoping they leave the AF alone. As long as I'm able to see a net gain I'll probably hang on to the Flagship, but I'm not willing to be out money for a 2%/3% card that is rather 'meh' (outside of the Prime benefit) when I already have those same returns on other cards.

Put another way, if the AF is less than $139 and the Prime benefit sticks around I'll hang on to the card, otherwise it's toast.

I have 17 primary cards (plus three more as AU) and am looking to thin the herd to about 13 total. If this AF goes up, it might be one that gets trimmed.
