Care Credit ceases new applications?

I went to prequalify this morning and get this message. Are they not accepting new accounts?

Wow. Hope it's temporary. I tested and got the same response.

The new point structure is very very good, so I'm not surprised if they got more new clients than they could handle.

Likely just temporary as that card is extremely popular with Dentists, Vets, etc for a very long time and a big money maker likely for synchrony.

There were a few reports on site up/down type services of carecredit being down or experiencing technical problems.

Hopefully, that's all it is and they'll sort it out soon.

Man that would be a huge blow to a lot of dentists and doctors offices if they stopped offering this card.

I just checked for giggles and the prequal feature looks to be back up.
