PC'd Altitude Connect still getting Priority Pass

A couple years ago I PC'd out of the Altitude Connect (when it had an AF), and downgraded to a Cash+. Since that time the Priority Pass benefit has continued to renew annually (albeit with just the 4 passes/year). Not only do I get the renewed physical card in the mail, but can also see the extended date in the app as well each time.

Pretty cool considering I'm going to downgrade my AR to a Connect after the next AF hits, which would give me 4 more passes (equalling the 8 of the AR). Wondering if anyone else has had this happen after a PC or closure?

Yes, I can confirm that I have had the exact same experience, same time frame , same PC.

Surely you weren't expecting US Bank IT systems to notice such a change in only 2 years! In 5 years, maybe...

Probably wouldn't work with a card that was a Connect but got PC'd, eh? I had the Connect for a year and PC'd it when the annual fee hit, when it had one. But, never signed up for Priority Pass, as I wasn't traveling then. Now, I am, and... ah, I'm assuming it just wouldn't work with a card that was Connect but is now the Smartly.
