Do Credit Cards identify AU purchases?

Years ago while living in Charleston, SC I added my fiancé to a credit card as an AU. What I recall is my bill was divided showing my purchases and her purchases as an AU. ( We did not get married.). I recall having several local bank issued credit cards.

15 years later, living in Charlotte, NC, I added my (current) fiancé, then wife, now ex wife to most of my credit cards as AU, All of my credit cards were national (Chase, Citi, Barclays). None of these cards identified or divided showing my purchases and her purchases. All transactions were listed by date with no indication who made the purchase.

Do any credit cards separate out AU purchases?

I have never had joint credit, do these joint credit cards seperate out which card is being used?

Some financial institutions give AU's their own card numbers. In my experience, I've seen Amex and Cap1 do that. With different card numbers, it's easy to separate purchases.

Don't have real numbers but from many years of having cards I can say most give no indication which card was used for each purchase.

Never had a statement with card's separated and sub total's, etc.

A few institutions have different #'s for AU cards and on line with an additional info about charge will list the card number used, however this does little good when the statement or data dump to "csv" or "quicken" has them all together again.

Chase does not break out AU purchases, but Amex and Citi do.

Amex does break purchases by AU in their statements.

Citibank does for “Citi Costco Visa”

Citibank does NOT for “Citi Double Cash”(AU has same CC number, maybe that’s what determines if they divide purchases by AU)

My apologies, I checked my custom cash and it does not break out by AU. Only my Costco Citi does.
