Macy's AmEx 10x Restaurants Q4 2025

Activatable in the app, Macy's AmEx is giving 10x on Restaurants (including Food Delivery) until 12/31/2025. This mimics, and improves upon, last year's offer of 6% in the same category. Notably, they have yet to list a cap on their quarterly offers.

2025 Q3: 10x U.S. Gas Stations

2025 Q2: 6% Supermarkets

2025 Q1: 5% Pharmacies, Gyms, Salons & Spas

2024 Q4: 6% Restaurants (including Food Delivery)

2024 Q3: 6% Streaming

Macy's AmEx, being administered by CitiBank, allows payment via debit card, so that effectively boosts it up to a 11x category (or 10x + 1%).

I personally math Macy's points at .75 cents per point, which still comes in at a whooping 7.5% value (8.5% if paying by debit card.)

Is that in points for Macys purchases, or statement credits, and do you get a base 1% for all purchases stacked onto that? It sounds like another mighty Citi retail card under the radar!

Points. And no, there's no base 1%, though you can add 1% value if you pay via a 1% debit card. Normally you get 2% on Restaurants. This replaces it for the quarter.

If it's just for Macy's merchandise, then that means I would have to update my wardrobe, which was last done in the 1970s. Only my wife would be happy!

Or, you could buy her a new set of luggage for a trip to Paris 😜 Since Macy's is a department store and sells a lot more than clothing in those other departments.
