AMEX reporting

B of A cc, Discover, Household, report two or three days after my new billing statement comes out. It puts in the newest balance, which is at that time just a few days old.

AMEX, on the other hand, reports also a few days after my billing statement comes out, but it reports the balance of a month ago. I tried to request AMEX to submit the current balance, but they would not do it. Anyone have experience with this?

AMEX in my experience reports the balance at the close of the last statement. Recheck the previous month's statement.

When does AMEX report to CRA?? I was added as an AU last month and still no activity??

Can take up to a couple months.

Amex reports are 30 days behind.

Hope they hurry.... Early 08' and new reporting systems will negate the AU from scoring

Same here- Amex reporting previous months statement balance

HSBC/Household has been reporting the balance on the last weekday of the month for the last year-(no idea about before then)

3-4months as an AMex AU and still no credit update.....???? Any suggestions or is this the way its going to be as many creditors eliminate AU reporting??
