Can we use Macy's store card in Bloomingdales?

Can we use Macy's store card in Bloomingdales since both cards are issued by citi?

I don't think so - they have the same issuer, DSNB (not Citi)...DSNB does a variety of stores.

dsnb is owned by citi.

The Macy's and Bloomingdale's cards are issued by DSNB. DSNB administers the accounts. The accounts are owned by Citi. They are not interchangable.

I helped a customer the other day and they used their Bloomingdales card at Macy's. Another customer also once told me they've used both at either store.

What was presented to you at the store was a Bloomingdales Visa. A visa card can be used anywhere. Bloomingdales store cards can only be used at Bloomingdales. Until Bloomingdales buy's Macy's it will always be that way.

Actually Macy's owns Bloomingdales, DI. Federated Department Stores, now know as Macy's Inc., has owned Bloomingdales since 1949.

Oh, sorry. I better stick to what I know. With my Sears' card, I'm able to use it at a multitude of stores owned by Sears. I guess its different with Bloomingdales and Macy's store card.
