Hey!

My credit jumped from 567 to 647 in one month by just getting old negatives removed! I'm totally thrilled! (as you can imagine!) Anyways, I now need a better credit card that I wont be paying tons in fees for. They can only pull Experien b/c Im still working on my other reports.

THANKS!

Sometimes it depends on where you live, on which CRA that the CCC pulls from.

You can always ask before applying on which CRA that they use. That will save you on a inq ding.

Congrats on the big score increase! That was a major jump. If I were you, since you have no more negatives reporting, I would wait a couple of months to apply for new credit. Give your FICO scores a chance to get even higher to qualify for the best rates and offers. By that time, without a doubt, you can qualify for some decent cards.

OP, Id also recommend that you wait a little while longer if you could. You could get the right cards which you could keep.

If you have to, NFCU seems like a good possibility. Atleast the LOC. The CC could be possible if you have no unpaid baddie(s).

Likewise with Carecredit.

A very remote chance with Alliant and USAA. Is UTL holding your score down or baddie(s)?

Penfed is a straight denial.

Maybe your local Banks or CUs.

Message Edited by nothingman02 on 01-17-2010 08:46 PM
