I just opened these cards and would like to add my GF as an AU. Do they report AU's? I know Macy's store card does, but what about Visa?

Don't know about Nordie's and Macy's, but a USAA CSR told me that the primary cardholder (you, in this case) can choose whether or not the AU card would report.

Do you have to ask macys to report your au or they do it automatic?. I want to add my husband to my macys store card. Thank you.

Started out as a store card, upgraded to Visa with a CLI of $1000.....reports on all 3

Macys visa or store I can't remember but does not report to all 3 even as primary

Macy's store account reports to: EQ, EX, TU.

Macy's Visa reports to: EQ, EX.

I believe the both report AU's, but I have no firsthand experience with AU's on this or any other account in the last several decades.

Did you have to ask macy store card to report gf to credit bureau when she was a au on your account or do macys just report aus?

I have DH as an AU on my Macy's and have yet to see it on his reports. The account has reported since I've added him - maybe it'll show up later????

I dont think the AU on the Macy's store card reports. I am a AU on DH since Aug 09 and it has not reported to my CR. They only asked for my name when he added me so I was notreally expecting it to report.

Just added my husband to my card last month and its already reporting on his transunion haven't check equifax or experian yet. They only ask for his name. Its reporting as a AU on his credit report.

I called cs to have DH added as an AU on my Macy's and was told it would not show up on his CR.

That fits my experience. It's now been several months and Macy's is still not reporting on DH's report.

Maybe you can call back and talk to someone else, I didnt have any problem. I ask the csr could i add my husband to my account as au. She said sure what was hes name and i told her. She never asked for his social security nbr.
