Back door #'s work!

First, I absolutely love this site!!!! Thanks to all the wonderful folks who help compile all the valuable information!

I applied for a Barklay's Carnival Visa over the weekend...and got denied. I called the back door number 30mins ago...and after 5 minutes I was reconsidered and approved for a $1500 CL. Excellent!

They work!

She verified my information from the application. Then asked more specific information about my employer and job description...in addition to length at current job. Verified annual income. Finally, she vaguely asked about the reason for the Medical and CC collections.

Then, ~Volla....approved. From what I gather, she didn't do another hard pull.

Well, I applied and got denied as well, and called the backdoor number. My TU score is 620, and I was denied because of insufficient credit history on the accounts that I have. I don't think that's fair. All the cards that I have are paid on time, and the oldest one is 3 years old.

Just called back and spoke with another representative, and got approved for $500 CL. He saw that I was trying to rebuild my credit and was willing to help me. My highest limit is $900 with Jared and Kays. I'm not going to complain about the limit because at least I'm in with them now, and I can prove my credit worthiness and the rep said that I can qualify for an increase in 3 or 6 months if I use it and pay on time, which I will do!

What's funny and also great is that I just got an email from them with my denial letter, and was able to laugh and not feel bad because I was "NOT" denied! LOL!

It must be my lucky day! I called Wal-Mart to check on the status of my app from Saturday as well, and I was approved with $600! WHOO HOOO!!!!!!!!

I also have a CreditOne bank card that I got to rebuild my credit, as well as a Fingerhut account. A couple installment accounts and student loans as well. Oh yeah, did I mention that JCPenney's showed me luv today too? Well, they did!!! LOL! I'm on a roll.

I got the Credit One Account in 12/08, and was sent a pre-approval catalog for the fingerhut account. Credit One started with $200 limit, but I'm now up to four as of this past friday. Fingerhut started with $250, but now I'm up to $350. I should be up for an increase on that card soon because they do quarterly increases if you make your payments on time, which I have.

I have Fingerhut as well, they started me with $300 and im at $400. Is it me or have you notice it to.....those suckers are high.Their prices are double....lol
