I need to get some major/bank cards to continue building my credit file. As of right now I only have store cards, rebuilder cards, and junk accounts from GEMB and what not. I am about to apply for CCCU but does anyone have any other suggestions of where to look. My Eq FICO is 706 and I have no baddies.

We have a GEMB/Sams club cc with a limit of 10,000.00 is that a small CL? We have a fifth wheel note with GEMB it was orginally $45,000.00 we will have a two year pay off on it. I thought when they raised our sams club CL it was pretty decent ammount. So you think if we had a major cc instead of sams club our score would be higher? Im just curious (trying to learn things) we are not looking for credit of any type. Tks Vicki

Ha I would call those good limits. I was talking about things like Paypal Buyer credit when they start you off with a 300 limit even if you have perfect credit.

those are great limits... but I think you would see your score go a lot higher if you added a credit card.

you like sams, so what about www.Discovercard.com
