They are brought by a big bank like chase or citi i hear they are for sale.they are no longer taking applications.

They are backed by Merrick Bank. There might be a moratorium on granting new credit until the mess is sorted out.

I know the airlines went belly up but from this article I can't tell if Hooters is still solvent or if they will still have money problems after the sale. When I read another article about the defunct airlines it said Hooters had money problems but this article says they'll be worth 130 to 160 dollars after all is said and done?!

I have a 2100 trade line with Hooters and it was a rebuilder for me but but I joined the 700 club just about the time everybody got rate jacked. I landed a great Credit Union card and my Juniper still has a low APR compared to many. Hooters is going to sleep.
