The FICO scoring categories are:

Great - 760+

Very Good - 720+

Good - 680+

Not Good - I'm not entirely sure where the cutoff is but if I remember correctly its 640+

Bad - not sure if its 640 or lower

I suggest you do an internet search for "myfico discount codes" to save a little money. You can also purchase your Equifax score at www.equifax.com (If you look hard enough) and your Transunion score at www.transunioncs.com. No one has been able to pull their own Experian FICO score since last February. Creditors can pull Experian and also there is a CU in Pennsylvania that supplies that information to it's members only.

So ... ok ...

1. How about if you get from Experiandirect.com? Somebody told me it is FACO. FAKO

2. How about if you get from annualcreditreport.com for each one for FREE? *It only gave me a report, not score? REPORT ONLY

Thanks. Semper Fi!

Those would be Fako, yes.

You are welcome- it is good to be "smart" about credit cards these days (or any day for that matter).

I just wanted to reiterate my last post- some Prime card issuers are "flexible" meaning if the card is designed for a user that has "excellent" credit that would mean someone who has a Fico of 760+. What I mean by flexible is that they actually approve people with what I call "good to excellent" Fico's- which is 680-760! That is a large range! But this is true!

EDIT: Although they do have different "Tiers" for these cards meaning small differences in APR's and Credit Lines. But to me this is a moot point because when these cards age you will later qualify for the higher tiers (assuming your Fico's keep going up).
