CAPITAL ONE CLI

Does anybody ever get CLI from Cap One. I called them and they said they never do customer intitiated CLI only periodically.

I have been a cardholder two years always paid on time mostly pif and they have never offered me a CLI.

Cap 1 has always been pretty stingy with CLI's. I've had my card over 12 years and have had one auto CLI in that time. I've never asked for a CLI because I never thought I needed one.

I have their starter card now at $750 for past 2 years, no cli no nothing.

My Fiance's card was CLI from $1500 to $4500 sometime within the last year. He just logged in and saw the new CL, didn't ask for anything. Started in the credit steps program with either a $500 or $1000 initial limit and 1 $500 CLI from credit steps. Then I think it was likely around the 1 year mark that he got the CLI. He uses the card each month and PIF mostly.
