Has anyone got a hard pull on Experian from VerizonWireless after Signing up with and applying for credit card with penfed?

That is very strange. I would call Verizon and ask what thats all about. Could be fraud so I would be very concerned.

Hi,Thanks.I will call verizon tomorrow.I had thought it was something penfed does.But i guess not.No one else has chimed in.Im glad i got in with penfed.

Nope! They did it to me. It falls off next month.

They told me it would be soft but pulled EX hard.

PP'd me off. They hurt your score and contribute nothing

to better it. I hate them!!!!!!!.........!!!

I didn't see the Penfed thing. I don't understand the connection.

but Verizon pulls EX when you apply for cell phone.

They pulled hard for Fios too but for some strange reason after 6 months the inquiry got recoded to a soft pull all by itself.

R U SERIOUS, I AM LIVID the sales woman lied and said it was going to be a SOFT inq. With the recent state of my credit report involving fraud and beginning Barclays to take that into consideration now another HIT!!!! THey lied its a recored cal lwhat action can i take! I AM GOING TO CANCEL SERVICE IF THEY REFUSE!

I really believe the sales people don't know the difference

between a hard and a soft. Verizon should step up and inform

their people. When I had AT&T they didn't pull anything.
