Is Amazon considered a department store by Discover?

First off, I apologize since this is not a credit related question but I could not figure out where to ask.

I was about to buy some stuff from Amazon with my (other bank's) 2% cashback card buuuut... Remembered that Discover More had the 5% thingy on department stores for Q2, so I was wondering if an Amazon purchase would be eligible for this?

I'd say it is given the description (you know, the fine print) but if somebody had bought something recently from Amazon and confirmed that they got the 5% cashback would be AWESOME!

I doubt it amazon is consider a department store, Why do think you'll get 2x with your amazon that's only office, besides restaurants gas and drug storescarry

my bad , but I don't think amazon would get the 5% but your cal and ask
