I have also received two auto increases from Barclay's. I received a $1,000.00 CLI on my Carnival Mastercard in late December/early January of 2010 and received an additional $1,000.00 CLI last week (6/10). In late December/early January, I also received a $1,000.00 CLI on my Itunes Visa. I don't use this card regularly so I am assuming that this is the reason why I did not get the 2nd increase on it.

Nice work GST2008! Thanks for posting this - always nice news for the Barclays card holders.

Can you give us a little more info, such as: What was your initial CL and how long did you have the card before the first CLI?

And if you're willing, folks always like to know where your score was sitting....(we're a nosy bunch).

Got the card in May 2007 @ $7.5K

Asked for CLI in July 2009(?) and got another $1K

Got another $1K earlier this year.

Final $1K just recently

Got my Barclays Barnes and Noble card in 08/2010. Initially it was $800 but then got split with the the Itunes that I had at the time ($500/$300 B&N/Itunes). After about several months, I re-merged the limits and always called the backdoor number (somewhere on this board...I always come here when it's that time of year) every 6-8 months. Long story short, I now have $5000 CL.

Should I not use this card regularly to get auto CLs? They always pull an INQ on TU everytime I request one. But to be fair, they always give me love too. I can leave this card alone as I have $7500 on one and $4000 on the other. But auto-cli would be very nice.

08/2008....thank you for pointing that out. 08/2010 is when my card expires and marks my 2 year anniversary with them.

Sorry about that. But I would like a better idea of getting the auto-CLIs.

app for a Barclay's affinity cc about 3 months ago and received 7000 CL...decided not to push it with a CLI at activation request since had BT about 1.5k to the new card already. Then decided to take a gamble at the 3 mos mark, not expecting an increase to be granted this early on, with limited payment history but to my surprise they granted an instant 2k increase.
