First Capital One Bill

I saw online that my capital one bill was on there...its only been less than 3 weeks since i got the card...so i thought that was odd. Anyway, does this mean they reported that balance to the credit bureau? Its not a high balance or anything, but i wanted to pay it off before they report it. The bill due date says 7/18

If a balance appears on your Cap 1 statement, be assured that it will be furnished to the CRAs.

That doesn't seem fair...I had thought statements came on the 1st, and thats when they reported...they kind of burned me with that then. at least i know for next month though i guess

Statements gernerates on different days for everyone. If you want your statement to generate on the first of each month, you can have them to change your due date to around the 25th of each month. It take a few days after the due date for a new statement to generate.

so is the statement date the day it is reported? basicly you have to pay before the statement generates to avoid any util?
