I have been rebuilding my credit, got a Jcpenny 200 limit 05/2010, just got approved for a walmart 1200 limit a few days ago, yes, 1200 limit!! dont know how I got that with mid 600's fico scores, but maybe they took a jump before my quarterly reporting showed increase? The day after 1200 walmart approval, I applied for GEMB Chevron/Texaco gas card and got instant approval online. It did not tell me credit limit, I had to call toll free number and it told me the limit is 350, not bad for gas and considering that I just applied for this card in May and for walmart in April and was denied on both.
