USAA Transfer Balance link on bill pay

Hi,

I have a USAA checking, savings and car and home insurance. I noticed today that when I go into bill pay and click on a credit card accout that a new link to "transfer balance to USAA card" has suddenly appeared. I clicked the link and since it don't have a credit card with them it tells me I can apply for one. Is this just a new link they added to everyone's account or could it be an "offer"?

It's been on mine since I opened the account (03/10) but I have a cc with them.

The same thing happened to me and my profile pretty well matches yours. I have my car & home insurance along with checking and savings with them. Lately they've been sending email offers to apply for their CC but I haven't pursued it at all.

I've always had that option, but since the recent introduction of Web BillPay the link is just more obviously placed.

Well, I decided to bite the bullet and guess what??? I got approved for $6k with a 14.9 apr! Not the best, but I sure am excited because this is my first card that's not subprime! I really, really, really, really (you get the point!) didn't think I would be approved! I am thrilled! It's taken me a long time to get to where I am and I have this great board to thank for it!

Congrats! And continue to treat them with exquisite care. USAA rewards long relationships.

They now have all of my non-credit financial business (banking, savings, Roth, insurance, 401K, etc.) They seem to go the extra mile to provide a good experience for their members.

(although a rewards card would be kinda cool!)

That's OK, I can get my CC rewards elsewhere.
